Warping
The purpose of warping is to arrange a convenient number of warp yarns
so that they can be collected on a single warper’s beam. Only beam warping or
direct warping is available here.
Now we have to know how the grey yarn will run for warping. During the
analysis & planning for sampling period we make a paper that is supplied
taking the approval of manager & Go to warping & sizing section as well
as to the weaving section.
Object of warping
o
creation, out of a limited
number of warp threads (creel load), of a warp composed of any
o
number of threads with the
desired length
o
arrangement of
above-mentioned threads according to the desired sequence
o
Manufacturing of a warp
beam with said characteristics
o
To produce the warp beam
for subsequent process
o
To contract a parallel yarn
sheet of specified length & width
o
The entire yarn in the warp
beam should be uniformly tensioned
o
Modified the fault of yarn
Direct
warping:
Where the large number of total yarn and less than
15% color yarn we can used to direct warping.
Beam warping or direct warping is used mostly when
several beams of same warp length have to be prepared; also this kind of
warping is carried out in two separate stages:
• At first the proper warping takes place: the
available threads (creel capacity) are wound on large cylinder called ″beam ″
and so many beams are prepared as indicated by the result of following
• In
a second stage the threads wound on the beams are simultaneously unwound to
form the weaver’s beam.
Calculation direct warping:
Example:
number
of warp yarns= 7140
creel
capacity= 720
Fault of warping
- Warp off center of the beam.
- Loose and tight warp deam.
- Missing end.
- Uneven and coarse knot.
- Lapped end.
- Conical winding on the deam.
- Inproper
length of tarn warping. Long and
large slub and other empurities.
